Leisure Sunday

Went back to my parents after service today, just like any other sundays. Good to see that Joey is already very familiar with my parents, nigel & kat. She would not fuss anymore when she is being carried by them, even when I am not around. The only thing is they still cannot master the art of putting her to sleep yet, so that's when I come in. :) In any case, I think real soon, I'd be able to leave Joey in their hands and go pak tor with isaiah! Wahahaha!

Life is getting routine on sundays. But just like almost every sunday, we had dinner at this super good Thai restaurant in Sembawang Shopping Centre. I tell you, we have tried to order different kinds of dishes each time, but until now, I have not really found a dish that is just so-so. Every single dish they have is very delicious. And that is an understatement, I tell you.

The queues on weekends are quite atrocious. There would be many many people crowding outside the restaurant because they are waiting for their turn. The waiters would take down our names & our orders, then tell us to go walk walk for 45 minutes. The restaurant is very popular not only because of its good food, but also because of its good service (I salute the friendliness & courtesy of all the staff), speed of delivering the dishes and the reasonable prices. The funny thing is, without fail, they will always come with the bill at the end of the dinner and tell us they've given us a $2 discount. "Oh, the total bill is $40, but we are only charging you $38." My dad calls it the 'make-you-feel-good' strategy.
