A Swim, Perhaps?

I have been wanting to bring joey swimming ever since she was born. Cos I like to swim myself and I think for a baby who cannot move around by herself yet, floating on the water may be the next best alternative. But because of some old fashioned kiasuism, we have put off the plans to bring her swimming till at least after her 3rd injection, which theoretically puts her on immunity against most diseases. Yes, I know, you can't catch any diseases from the swimming pool, but who can 100% guarantee it??

So, now that she's had her 3rd injection, I am seriously thinking of bringing her swimming soon. But of course, I need to get her a swimsuit & float first. Maybe I'll go check out the departmental stores this week. Hee hee.

Another big problem with bringing joey swimming is of course the fact that I HAVE to put on a swimsuit as well. Sigh.. with the after-birth cellulite still hanging there like it's gotten its PR status, I dare not think how I will look in my swimsuit. For sure I am not going to wear my bikini, so it's definitely back to my traditional one-piece. And probably suck in my tummy for the entire duration of the swimming. Oh Well.

I wonder if Joey will be as excited as me about going swimming...
